PEFINDO Appoints New Board of Directors

Jakarta, August 21, 2026 - PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (PEFINDO) officially announced changes to the composition of its Board of Directors, following a resolution adopted at the Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) held on Friday, August 21, 2026, in Jakarta.

The shareholders approved the appointment of Ignatius Girendroheru as President Director and Vera Florida as Director of Compliance and Risk Management. Ignatius previously served as PEFINDO’s Director of Compliance and Risk Management since 2020, while Vera previously served as Head of Corporate Rating Division 1 at the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). Ignatius succeeds Irmawati as President Director, and Vera assumes the position of Director of Compliance and Risk Management previously held by Girendroheru.

Accordingly, effective upon the closing of the EGMS, the composition of PEFINDO’s Board of Directors is as follows:

• President Director: Ignatius Girendroheru
• Rating Director: Hendro Utomo
• Compliance and Risk Management Director: Vera Florida

The new composition of the Board of Directors is expected to further strengthen PEFINDO’s role as a capital market supporting institution in upholding transparency, integrity, and the stability of the national financial industry, through the provision of independent, credible, objective, and reliable credit risk opinions.

As of July 2026, PEFINDO had rated debt securities and sukuk (EBUS) instruments totaling Rp519.56 trillion, with total outstanding ratings reaching Rp673.74 trillion. In addition, in terms of corporate ratings, PEFINDO has rated 427 companies, including 206 state-owned enterprises (BUMN) and their subsidiaries.

In addition to its rating activities, as of August 2026 PEFINDO has undertaken several new activities that have received approval from Indonesia’s Financial Services Authority (OJK), namely acting as an external reviewer for the issuance of green bond and social bond verifier, and as provider of Investment Manager Quality Assessment and Mutual Fund Credit Quality Assessment services.
