PEFINDO provides assessment services for investment managers and mutual funds. They are:
Investment Managers (MI) Assessment
The MI Assessment focuses on the investment manager’s overall fund management quality, rather than solely on return. This is reflected in the methodology, putting substantial weight on process, infrastructure, team, and risk management – often-overlooked factors in investors’ considerations.
Mutual Fund Credit Quality Assessment
The Mutual Fund Credit Quality Assessment uses notations similar to those of instrument ratings, as the assessment also similarly focuses on credit risk. What makes this assessment different from those currently on the market is that we evaluate the entire fund’s portfolio, not just the top ten. In addition, we also consider a part of the MI Assessment within the Mutual Fund Assessment Methodology

Both MI and Mutual Fund Assessment methodologies follow the guiding principles and rules of POJK No. 15 Year 2025 regarding the Assessment of Mutual Fund and the Assessment of Investment Managers.
